Update Reference Database

Question:  I purchased Chessbase 13 and Mega Database. Now I run into a problem. I saw the latest game in Mega Database 2016 as installed is dated October 2015. So I clicked on Get new games in ChessBase13, then clicked download new games. It shows that games are downloaded from update base 2016 (whose status is subscribed). But however when I check Megabase 2016, the new games are not added there. May you please help me figure out what is going on?

Solution: obviously the Mega 2016 is not defined as your Reference Database in CB 13 yet.

Start CB 13 and right click the icon of Mega 2016 – Properties. Activate “Reference DB” here and store the change.

Then login with your account to the Mega Update Service again.

Click “Update Base 2016” on the top and select all entries from the list.

Now click “Download selected entries”. That will download the new games again and afterwards ask you to copy the game to your Mega 2016.
